Welcome to Cira Nahte Restaurant & Takeaway!  Indulge in the exquisite flavors of Durban Indian cuisine, lovingly prepared by our glamorous owner and chef, Usha Bhagwandin.  Inspired by her mum and late uncle’s culinary expertise, Usha has mastered the art of cooking a diverse range of dishes, from mouthwatering rhot and halwa to delectable puri, sweetmeats, cakes, and freshly ground spices.  Following in the footsteps of her successful entrepreneur father, Theo, Usha decided to embark on her own culinary journey after being retrenched from the corporate world in 2018. With a burning passion and unmatched talent, she opened her own food business in Gauteng, bringing the flavors of Durban curry to the heart of Edenglen.  From humble beginnings operating from home, Cira Nahte has now become Usha’s new home, her ultimate passion, and her soul.
